Security provider failed to initialize. RpcNsBindingImportNext Failed

If you received the following error message:

Security provider failed to initialize. RpcNsBindingImportNext Failed

It means you are probably using an old security model. Microsoft has updated its security protocol such that a computer on a network does not broadcast its name or IP address. You may see a dialog similar to the following:

What OLI is trying to do is listen on the network for the OLI Network License Manager. Since this name is no longer being broadcast you will have to either provide the name or IP address of the server hosting the OLI Network License Manager.

You can do this by clicking on the Security Options button.

OLI recommends that you upgrade to the latest OLI Network License Manager and OLI Software.
