How to use OLI results in publications?

OLI Systems, Inc. has a very liberal view of publishing the results of the software calculations in peer reviewed journals. We do have some guidelines and restrictions:

Data from Trial or Evaluation Software

Data and results obtained from software that is under a trial or evaluation license belongs to OLI Systems, Inc. You may not publish this data in any form anywhere. The software is provided for your evaluation of its capabilities and not for actual results. Please contact OLI Systems, Inc. if you have a question during the trial or evaluation period.

Data for a specific chemistry or process

If you have a limited chemistry or a specific process then you may publish the results of the calculations. OLI Systems, Inc. requests that you make an acknowledgement of the use of the OLI Software including the version and build number of the software,e.g., OLI Studio Stream Analyzer version 9.2.8.

Data for a large scale application or generation of pseudo-data

Data generated for many systems or to create pseudo-data for use in another program is prohibited from being published. Please contact OLI Systems, Inc. for a discussion of what is permitted.
