Overview
Sometimes the OLI Network Security Provider will fail to start or run in some manner. OLI has provided an event logger to capture the errors. This guide explains how to capture the information and provide it to OLI
Assumptions
We make the following assumptions that… 1. You have installed version 2.0 of the OLI Network Security Provider 2. You have access to the license file supplied by OLI.
Procedure
Start the OLI Network License Server 2.0. The path is:
Programs > OLI Systems > Network License Server 2.0 > Network License Server 2.0
You should see a dialog similar to the following:
The dialog indicates that the license server has not started.
Click the Event Log Tab
If any events are currently displayed, please click the Clear Events button.
Start the license manager by clicking the Start button.
If an error occurred, please click the OK button.
Here errors have occurred. Click the Save Events button.
You will be prompted for a location to save the file using a standard Windows file dialog. Save this file and then E-mail the file to OLI Systems, Inc. at
