Installation of the OLI Engine for Unisim Design

A UniSim Design OLI client, can have different kinds of keys.

Please identify with the help of your vendor what kind of key you have out of the following:

  • Trial copy (no security layer)
  • LA key (Network USB hardware key, deprecated - no longer distributed)
  • LS key (Network softkey)
  • PA key (Individual USB hardware key, deprecated - no longer distributed)

Network Installations

LA and LS means that you have a network copy.

Installation procedure for a Network copy consists of two steps. First is to install a Network License Manager. The Second is Installing the OLI Engine for UniSim.

If you have an LA key , please follow the links below:

Step 1: Installing and Running the OLI License manager 3.1- USB Hardware Key edition

Step 2: Installing and Running OLI Engine in UniSim Design On Network

For a LS key, you need the Network License Manager , Again you have a two step process:

Step 1: Installing and Running the OLI License Manager 3.1 - Softkey Edition

Step 2: Installing and Running OLI Engine in UniSim Design On Network

Personal/Stand-alone installations

If you have a PA key, you have a one step process:

Installing and running the OLI Engine in UniSim Design (for individual USB hardlock key)

For a PS key, follow the link below for install:
