OLI uses a client / server network implementation, where the license manager is installed on the network server, and the program is installed on individual client PCs. The software queries the license manager upon startup and at calculation time to make sure the license is valid.
OLI has two methods of network licenses managers: one works with a network USB key, and one works with softkey
